Hi, I’m Andy Acciaioli. I was born in Providence, RI and spent my high school years in East Hartford, Connecticut. The college of my choice, Providence College. And I have been a Rhode Islander ever since. (When I travel and people ask me where I am from and I say Rhode Island, nearly all respond, is that the island off New York City…)

My entrepreneurial careers were routed in the travel industry and the communications field.

Hartley Tours was born out of the basement of my house. Over a few years I expanded it to include 22 branch offices (15 company-owner and 7 franchised), a fleet of 21 deluxe motorcoaches and the staff grew from 1 (me) to over 130. After operating Hartley and Andrews Bus Transportation for a number of years, something quite unexpected developed: 80 plus hour work weeks. And when I was not physically present at our main office and bus facility, I was strapped to an electronic leash (pager) to handle a constant flow of emergency calls. (Neighbors would joke whenever they caught a sighting of me: “Hey, isn’t that the phantom father?”)

With an orderly program in place to close or sell the offices as well as sell the buses, I started a business-to-business, direct mail company called MaxiPaks.

At first the scope of this operation was going to be Rhode Island and possibly just over the Massachusetts line. It became such an in demand program that I was forced to expand it to key New England and Mid-Atlantic areas…as well as Texas, Missouri, Illinois, Arizona and California. And my work week had once again zoomed to well over 80 hours: leaving my house on Monday to make sales calls all week and return on Friday. Now I started to refer to myself as a phantom father to our four children.

Changes had to be made and the biggest change was going to be me.

Since the internet would allow me to work from home, that’s exactly what I was after. The only problem was I knew zero about how to make a cent over the internet. After a two year search I found this group of online marketing mentors who said they would educate, train and support me to become a knowledgeable internet top-tier marketer and how to make a serious replacement income right from my home.

I joined them and the rest is history.
